Cabin Luggage Limits

Airline cabin luggage sizes are subject to change and to the discretion of the flight attendants when you board your flight. This chart is offered as a general guide to cabin luggage restrictions – you are advised to check with your airline for their current limits before buying your bags and luggage. The current IATA (Internation Air Transport Association) size limits are listed below.

Your cabin luggage should have:
Maximum Length  56 cm (22")
Maximum Width  45 cm (18")
Maximum Depth 25 cm (10")

These dimensions include wheels, handles, side pockets, etc.
Luggage allowed onboard may vary from one to two pieces per passenger. Please note: Some airlines use lower limits.

Information taken from the IATA website – August 2012.

June 2015 - IATA has suggested a new maximum size of 55x35x20cm - question is how soon will it be adopted?
